I love photographing newborns, and I love photographing toddlers, but, to photograph toddlers with newborns is a totally different story :-)
It was great to see Bertus and Suzanne again. I photographed their wedding a few years ago and photographed Zanie when she was a newborn. This time I had the privilege to meet
little AJ. I also had some time during the feeding to take some photos of little Zanie. She was a bit camera shy and Bertus and I really had to do our best to get some photos of her.

Below is an example of the amount of editing that goes into a newborn shoot. The trick of editing is to make sure that the baby doesn't look like a porcelain doll (fake), but to try and edit out all the little red marks, scratches & pimples. This really takes a lot of time, even longer than editing a bridal portrait.
