6 May 2010 | Vaughan and Lieselle | Le Joubert

Winter is the time of the year when photographers pray more :)  because of the weather.  Vaughan and Lieselle had their wedding on Thursday at the very beautiful Le Joubert (new Name: d'Olyfboom Estate) in Paarl.   It was a very rainy and windy day in Paarl.  Liselle got dressed at Lemoenkloof Guest House in Paarl.  I started taking photos of Lieselle at 9:00.  It was still dark outside because of the heavy cloud cover and rain.

They had their intemate wedding ceremony in the cellar at Le Joubert and afterwards had some pre-drinks with their family and friends.  After pre-drinks they had an informal picnic style reception and after the reception we started taking some couple photos.  At first we took some photos indoor because of the rain, but later on we moved outside and did the whole photosession without a drop of rain.  All praise to God!!!

I hope that you enjoy these moments with me...

Even the chickens were hiding from the rain :)
On this photo above you can see how it rained.  I was standing outside (under an umbrella) and was taking the photo with the couple warm and dry standing in the door and kissing and laughing at me...
